Abstract

The article reveals that concentration of 137Cs and other radioisotopes in the fungal fruit bodies of the Leccinum genus collected in the area of Hibiny Mountains is within the limits of the admissible values. The accumulation factors of 137Cs and 40К in the fungal fruit bodies depend on soil acidity. Changes in soil рНН2О from 5,40 up to 7,33 cause a decrease of the accumulation factors of radioisotopes in fungi by more than 7 times.
