Nikolay Aleksandrovich Naumov, unknown to his colleagues
Abstract
The paper focuses on reminiscences of A. D. Naumov about his uncle N. A. Naumov — a famous mycology professor, working at the Department of Botany of Saint-Petersburg State University. Professor Naumov graduated from the Military College, but due to an injury of the right leg he did not serve in the Army and entered Saint Petersburg University. Shortly before the revolution, he was involved in a plane crash. Before the revolution, he was employed as a mycologist at the Agriculture Department. Since the beginning of the 20th and until the end of his life, he worked at Leningrad University.
