Abstract

The article focuses on memories about the Head of the Department of Botany from 1918 to 1937, Professor and Academician of the USSR AS (Academy of Sciences) Vladimir Leontievich Komarov which refer to 1907–1917. They represent sketches of his work at the Higher Women’s natural science courses of Lokhvitskaya-Skalon and his expedition trip to the Far East. In addition, it features anecdotal stories from Vladimir Leontievich life.
